in Grades III to V
DPS Rewari hosted a Science Week for
students in Grades III to V, featuring a range of educational activities.
- Grade III:
Students created charts and gave presentations on artificial satellites.
- Grade IV: A group discussion was held on
the Chipko Movement.
- Grade V: Students made models of
volcanoes and described volcanic eruptions.
LOHRI CELEBRATION: III TO X (13TH JAN 2024)
Delhi
Public School, Rewari, celebrated Lohri with enthusiasm for Grades III to V.
The assembly included an informative presentation on the significance of Lohri ,
captivating recitations by students, and folk songs played by the dance
teacher. Students participated in lively dances to traditional tunes, bringing
festive cheer to their online classes. The event highlighted the school’s
dedication to cultural appreciation and community spirit.
75th REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION (26TH JANUARY 2024)
DPS Rewari celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great
patriotic zeal. Students from classes V to VIII conducted a special assembly
featuring captivating dance and song performances, insightful speeches, and an
engaging quiz session. The audience was enthralled by the displays of unity and
patriotism.
ORIENTATION SESSION (27TH JAN 2024)
Delhi Public School, Rewari, organized a ‘Comprehensive Orientation Session’ on January 27, 2024, to facilitate a seamless transition for students advancing from Class VIII to IX. GRADUATION DAY (22TH MARCH 2024)
Delhi Public School, Rewari, celebrated
two memorable graduation ceremonies for Grade II and V students, highlighting
their talents and achievements.
Class II Graduation:
The Class II students impressed everyone with a heartfelt "Thank You"
song, showcasing their gratitude and unity. Their performance added a special
touch to the ceremony.
Grade V Graduation:
Grade V students celebrated in their graduation attire, receiving the symbolic
"light of knowledge" from the Principal and Teachers. They also
performed a graduation song, highlighting their talents. The day concluded with
a memorable photo session.
HOLI CELEBRATION (24TH MARCH 2024)
On March 24, 2024, Delhi Public School, Rewari,
organized a vibrant Phoolon ki Holi celebration for students from Nursery to
Grade V. The event was a kaleidoscope of colours, filled with contagious
laughter and joyful moments. The
festivities brought together students and teachers, fostering a sense of unity
and celebration.
AMBEDKAR JAYANTI (14TH APRIL 2024)
On April 14, 2024, the students of
Classes V-VIII, organized a special assembly to celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti and
honour Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's immense contributions to society. The assembly
began with speeches highlighting his tireless fight for social justice and
equality. Students then performed a skit depicting key moments from Dr.
Ambedkar's life, followed by a musical performance that resonated with his core
values. The event concluded with a thoughtful discussion on how Dr Ambedkar's
principles can be applied in daily life, offering a heartfelt tribute to his
legacy and inspiring everyone to uphold the values of justice and equality.
MOTHER’S DAY (14 MAY 2024)
On May 14, 2024, students from Nursery to
Class 10 held a distinguished celebration in honor of Mother's Day. They
expressed profound admiration for their mothers through thoughtfully curated
performances and artistic displays of affection. This event served as a sincere
homage, fostering deeper emotional bonds within the community while
underscoring the indispensable role of mothers in shaping lives.
FATHER’S DAY (16 JUNE 2024)
On June 16, 2024, students from Classes VI
to VIII celebrated Father’s Day with great enthusiasm and affection. Each
student created a heartfelt card, which they lovingly presented to their
fathers. The celebration provided a meaningful opportunity to express gratitude
and reverence, honoring the important role fathers play in their lives.
NO PLASTIC DAY (3 JULY 2024)
On July 3, 2024, No Plastic Day was
celebrated as a global initiative to combat the use of harmful plastics. The
day aimed to raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic waste
and encourage changes in behaviour to reduce plastic consumption. Through
various activities and educational sessions, participants learned about the
dangers of plastic pollution and were inspired to adopt more sustainable
practices to protect the environment.
