On
April 19, 2024, a special assembly was held to commemorate Founders' Day,
honouring the visionary ideals that laid the foundation of the school. The
event included eloquent speeches and insightful presentations that celebrated
the founder’s values and chronicled the school’s remarkable journey since its
inception. Students showcased skits and musical performances, vividly
illustrating the profound impact of the founder and highlighting the school’s
notable achievements over the years.
EARTH DAY ASSEMBLY (22ND APRIL 2024)
On April
22, 2024, students from classes III to VIII took a pledge to protect the
environment and preserve our Earth in a special Earth Day assembly. Organized
by Class VII, the event featured inspiring speeches and activities focused on
environmental stewardship. Additionally, students from Grades IX and X created
informative and creative posters on the theme of Earth Day, enhancing the
assembly’s impact and raising awareness about environmental issues.
LABOUR DAY ASSEMBLY (1ST MAY 2024)
On
May 1, 2024, a special morning assembly was held to celebrate Labour Day.
Students and staff gathered to recognize and appreciate the significant
contributions of labourers to society and the economy. The assembly featured
informative sessions about the vital role of workers and included various
engaging activities.
BUDDHA PURNIMA ASSEMBLY (23 MAY 2024 )
On May 23, 2024, a special assembly was
conducted to mark the occasion of Buddha Purnima. The assembly featured
enlightening presentations and activities that emphasized the principles of
peace, compassion, and mindfulness. Both students and staff came together to
reflect on the significance of Buddha's teachings and embraced the core values
of harmony and spiritual growth, fostering a deep sense of unity within the
school
community.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY (21 JUNE 2024)
On
June 21, 2024, International Yoga Day was celebrated at Rao Tula Ram Stadium,
Rewari, with vibrant and enthusiastic participation from the Dipsites. The
event featured a variety of activities for students of all ages, including
asanas, pranayama, and Surya Namaskar. Participants stretched their arms, bent
their legs, rolled their necks, and twisted every sinew of their bodies, fully
immersing themselves in the practice of yoga. The celebration highlighted the
importance of physical fitness and mental well-being, fostering a spirit of
wellness and harmony among the students.
INDEPENDENCE DAY (15 AUGUST 2024)
Independence Day was celebrated with great
zeal and patriotic fervor. Students took pride in honoring the spirit of unity
and freedom through captivating performances. The event showcased their
dedication and enthusiasm, reflecting a deep sense of national pride and
commitment to celebrating the values of independence.
RAKSHA BANDHAN (17 AUGUST 2024)
On August 17, 2024, students celebrated
the bond of love and protection through a Rakhi-making activity. They had a
wonderful time crafting their own unique Rakhis, while also learning about the
significance of Raksha Bandhan and the importance of sibling love. The activity
provided a meaningful opportunity for students to express their creativity and
deepen their understanding of this cherished tradition.
JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION (23 AUGUST 2024)
On August 23, 2024, Janmashtami was
celebrated with fervent joy and
devotion. Students dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha, and Krishna’s childhood
friends, adorned in colourful bangles, odhnis, and peacock crowns, added to the
festive splendour. A special assembly featured traditional melodies .
highlighted the importance of Janmashtami and Lord Krishna's timeless teachings,
delivered with enthusiasm by the students.
KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS ASSEMBLY (25 JULY 2024)
Commemorating
a day of unwavering patriotism, Delhi Public School, Rewari, observed Kargil
Vijay Diwas on July 25, 2024, with a solemn assembly dedicated to the fearless
soldiers who sacrificed their lives for India's honour. The moving ceremony,
attended by students from Grades II to XII, featured profound presentations and
activities that deeply resonated with the young audience. As students honoured
the courage and commitment of the armed forces, their voices echoed with
gratitude and admiration for the selfless heroes who safeguard the nation.
TEEJ CELEBRATION (13 AUGUST 2024)
A
festive celebration for Teej was organized, featuring a variety of events to
highlight the festival’s cultural significance. Students took part in lively
dance performances and enjoyed a traditional kite-flying activity, symbolizing
good wishes. The dress code for the day included green attire for teachers. The
enthusiastic participation underscored the commitment to integrating cultural
awareness with regular academics.
BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATION (14TH FEBRUARY 2024)
On February 14, 2024, a special
assembly was organized to celebrate Basant Panchami. The event commenced with a
solemn invocation of Goddess Saraswati, revered as the embodiment of knowledge,
wisdom, and the arts. Students enjoyed an assortment of yellow-themed dishes,
thoughtfully prepared with creativity. Additionally, participants took part in
a creative activity, arranging elegant flower displays featuring yellow blooms.
